  • Thanks to all for the kind wishes and comments regarding my new job. As of today, I STILL haven’t heard a word from my boss regarding my leaving. I met with Human Resources on Friday and we talked about all the things I was bitching about … poor girl, she had no idea what she was walking into. You have to understand, I’m NOT a disgruntled employee … I love the people and really believe in the product, but when you run your company like a Dilbert cartoon strip, people are going to want to find work elsewhere. I was calm, clear and concise in my issues with the company. She sat there with her mouth hanging open (she’s only been here for 5 months … replacing the other HR rep that was fired).

Oh well … this is my last week. They’re getting a group of people together Wednesday night for drinks in my honor, so that’ll be fun. On Friday I’m blowing out at noon and having lunch with my best friend and enjoy the last day of the week before I start my new gig.

I’ll fill you in on what goes on next week.

  • Corporate or Workplace enovironment really comes from the top and how upper management is committed to getting the best and retaining the best employees.  I see most problems with those in charge drawing a line between “business” and “employee” issues.  The thing is that they are connected.  Recruitment, training and employee turnover all affect the bottom line.  Those companies that address employee satisfaction directly, are those companies that tend to be successfull.  What is amazing is that the solution is pretty simple in principle.  Communicate, be open and transparent.

  • Sounds like your last week is going to be a pretty relaxing one

  • I find strange your boss ‘ s behaviour and a little worrying . I hope all will be doing well for you . Take care . And good luck for the new job next week .

    In friendship
