  • Wouldn't you know it? The day after my first real day of jury duty, I started to get sick. I was running a high fever, breaking out in cold sweats and just feeling plain miserable. But I still had to work, as there were several projects that had to be finished up. So come Monday, I get the courthouse and just feel like shit. So I talk to the bailiff, and by lunchtime they send me home. I go the doctor to find out I've had an upper respiratory infection that had gotten pretty bad. They put me on a 3-day zithromax antibody treatment and send me on my way. I spent all day Tuesday sleeping and finally, today, I'm feeling sort of like my old self again.

Today is such a nice day, I might go for a little drive along the coast. I wish my bike was finished (it's looking really sweet, by the way) so I could take it out. I'm thinking it'll be done by the middle of next month.

Have a great Easter everyone, and bite the heads off a few chocolate bunnies for me.

  • I hope you start feeling better soon.
Don't mention chocolate again please... I feel sick from eating too much of it

  • Thanks for the comment on my blog.  On top everything in my life everyone in my family including myself has come down with some cold crud.  Happens everytime this part of the year.  I will eat some chocolate, and I intend to blow up some Peeps int he Microwave too!

  • It sounds like the thing that I had come down with two weeks ago.
