  • BETTER LATE THAN NEVER ….

Sorry for the delay in blogging, things have been SUPER busy. We are getting geared up to make a huge presence at the West Coast Super Show, June 4th and 5th at Irvine Meadows. It was big last year, but this year is looking to be even bigger, and since I have to do all of the arrangements for it … well, you can understand why I’ve been missing in Action.

Some of you were asking how Laughlin went. It was great. We were smack dab in the middle of the party epicenter at the River Palms Hotel … we had Matt Hotch there (he won the Discovery Channel Biker Build off two years in a row), and several other notable people. We raffled off a $40,000 motorcycle (the guy who won spent $10 in tickets), sponsored the wet t-shirt contest and had a “beauty” contest on the last day. Plus, I got to play in a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. It was a lot of fun. I came in 7th, but it was still huge fun to play real poker in a casino. I did some pretty big bluffing, I can assure you.

Anyway, this picture show should give you an idea of where we were I shot it from a hill across the street from the hotel. … we scaled our normal booth size down for the event, but it was still big. By the way, that’s my bike with the 18-inch chrome ape hangers in front of the booth … It got rave reviews from the crowd … in fact, more so than our custom chopper. The boss says we may have to start building those bikes to sell.

    Have a good Memorial Day!

  • Hey buddy!  Nice to see that you are keeping employed and busy.  Hope all is well with the wife and Pugs.  Can you give me a link or info on how to purchase one of your shop’s T-Shirts?

  • Hello Dg,
Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day too!

  • Dayum!  A $40K bike by buying ten bucks in tickets?  WISH IT HAD BEEN ME!  By the way, what do you sell at these shows?  Do you guys still have those new pugs you’d bought?  I remember when you lost the other ones to that mysterious illness.  I just love pugs.  I saw a puggle recently.  Cute but not as cute as the real thing.
