So because I'm a total geek and have a ton of car stereo crap in my Beetle, I had to jump start the car and drive around looking for a specialty stereo shop that had my battery. I found it ... not too far down the street at Al & Eds. The downside? $200 later, and it's not going to be done till after 2:00pm.
You know, I really sound like a whiner over the last few posts. I'm sorry ... I'll try to lighten up.

But, I'm still glad you're feeling better. But $200. Jeeze.
Whining is ok..especially since they impounded our CAR last night because the title did NOT have the odometer reading on it..and the headlight was out as we were driving into WALMART to get one...grrrrrrrrr....I totally understand..really..*hands you a glass of alcohol.....*

$200 for a battery? Holy cow, for that kind of price I'd expect it to chauffer me around and reset the clock too!
