  • I need some time off.

Since before Thanksgiving, I feel like I've been going non-stop, and it's really taking it's toll. I'm tired all the time, I have no energy and I look horrible. I think it's time for some rest and relaxation. A little down time, if you will to recharge the batteries.

The question is: where shall I go? I have to go somewhere, because if I stay home, there'll be too many distractions. Here's what I'm looking to accomplish:

    1. Sleep; lots of it.

    2. Relaxation .... no stress or worry.

    3. Rejuvination ... I want to feel like a million bucks when I leave.

So I'll pose the question to you, dear Xangans. Where am I to go?

    DG

  • I most definitely understand where you are coming form. You need to figure out what relaxes you before you can figure out where. Do you like walking on the beach or rock climbing, do you want to just sit and rest, or do you want some place that is historic? The trick is figuring out what and the where gets a lot easier to recognize.

  • Guess it depends on what you like to do and how much you can afford to spend, yk?

  • I would recommend the Caribbean, absolutely. But since you are in CA, I would recommend Hawaii, simply in the interest of distance.

  • Hey Bro, don't know if you are planning to go somewhere soon or later on.  If it's later on, and you have some bucks, you can do anything you want.  If you want to take your rest within the next couple of weeks, you might want to investigate a spa to recharge your batteries.  You might also want to look at some nice quaint B&B type place on the coast to just chill.

  • I always thought that Vancouver BC is a great place to relax..but it is rather cold there right now..so ..wherever you go I hope you find what you are looking for my dear friend...Peace and blessings...Oh and have a glass of wine for me..tee hee..Sheri :)

  • I needed that very same thing a couple of years ago. I spent 7 wonderful days in the mountains of Tennessee with my husband, a hot tub and great food....venturing out only now and then. We both felt great after the rest.

  • Dear DG,
Thanks for visiting and leaving me your sweet comments. Wishing you, your Mrs. and puppy the very best life has to offer. Take care .......

  • What I did is get the flu.  That gave me two days of nothing nothing, I'll tell ya.
