  • So here’s how my bike look now. As you can tell, the front forks aren’t supposed to be bent that way. The estimate came in at just over $4,500.00. The bike can be fixed, no problem (unless the frame is cracked … we’ll find that out in a week or so), but my main concern is my back, hips and shoulder. I’m in pain pretty much all the time, and can’t stay seated in one position for more than about 15-20 minutes. Thankfully, my cast comes off in a week, but I can tell my hand isn’t going to be at 100% for a while.

    Being hurt sucks big time.

  • OUCH!!! That is an awesome bike but... OUCH!!
I hope the pain starts to ease soon.

  • Sorry to hear you are in pain, hope it all heals well and quickly. But damn, that is a sweet bike.

  • Bummer about your bike! Nice paint though. After my two back surgeries, I'm really afraid to ride again so I came up with a solution. My girlfriend is getting my 96 RoadKing a Lehman Trike Conversion for my birthday this year.

  • So what are the Doctors saying?  Are you going into physical therapy?
Pain Sucks.  But if it doesn't hurt you try laughing.  Rodney Dangerfield does it for me, or a Marx Brothers Movie.

"I get no respect. I was crossing the street. I got hit by a mobile library. I was lying there in pain, screaming. The guy looked at me. He went, "Shhhh."

    Get well soon my friend.

  • Pat always knows the right thing to say.

Hope you and the bike are mended soon. That is one sweet looking hog.

  • The bike is a wonder when I compare it to my Terrot 125 of cylindars of 1954 !!!!  Unfortunatly your bike needs a serious repair because it may become dangerous to drive .I am really sorry you are not much better . Yoou need physical therapy and I hope you had X.rays .

Take care of you my friend .

  • I also am sorry you and your bike are still on the mend. I had a bike once and, due to apparent blindness of everyone around me (I almost kicked in the right door panel of a Mercedes on Ijams Road in Stockton when the assh*le almost ran me off the road), consider it one of the miricles of my life that, during the short time I was riding, I wasn't seriously hurt
