It's looking like a nice day today ... the sun is out, it's about 70 degrees and I have only 2 errands to run. Today is going to be wonderful. Tomorrow is going to be cool too. I have to make an overnight business trip to Laughlin, Nevada to meet with a casino about putting on a motorcycle show. They're putting me up in their resort, so I'll be spending my time at the craps table before the big meeting. I am SO looking forward to the drive out there ... just the wind in what little hair I have, great tunes coming from the stereo and miles of road. I can't wait!
Had a very funny moment with my wife last night. She been knitting something that has to be done in 12-inch squares. So she stops knitting turns to me and says, "Do you have a ruler?" Siezing the moment, I give her that deadpan look and say, "Honey, in this country, we call them Presidents."
God, I love it when a great joke comes together.
Have an awesome Saturday!

LOL! And I would have said something about overthrowing it.
I just *left* weather like that, and am freezing once again here in Chicagoland (brrrrrrrr!)
On another note, your friend Psiler asked for information about our mutual hometown of Stockton (as I was just home for a family visit), and here's what I posted on his blog:
Our hometown's gone through a number of changes in recent years, such as it's "All American City" awards, The new City Center theater downtown, the new water/park-like area between Eldorado and Center where the old downtown 'sinking parking lot' used to be, the (almost) fully restored Hotel Stockton, the fully restored Bob Hope Fox California Theater, and (possibly the biggest news of all) the new Sports/Hotel/Parking Complex being built next to McLeod Lake.
I should work for the Stockton Chamber of Commerce, shouldn't I? (I wonder if they'd hire a part-time writer from Chicago? (grin)). Anyway, knowing that you're still healing, I thought my 'Stockton Tour Book' might leave a smile on your face
