  • You know, the more things change, the more they remain things. :)

I just got in from seeing Alice Cooper .... even though Alice is getting a bit long in the tooth, the old boy still knows how to kick ass with the best of them. Yessir, all the hits were there, Alice got his head cut off, and at the end, he decapitates Britney Spears. What an awesome show.

I was telling my wife, looking at it now, it seems pretty tame by today's standards. But I guess back in the 70's getting your head cut off on stage and getting hung was pretty out of control. If only we could have looked ahead to today, we probably would have made Alice a Saint.

The new stuff from "Dragontown" was okay .... basic rock and roll .... not a lot of heart, but it still rocked hard. Musically, the old stuff sounded great and was a lot of fun to see live.

So what does the future hold? Go ask Alice.

  • I still remember how funny we thought it was when AC went punk, but "Flush The Fashion" is still one of his best albums.

  • Damn straight! The sad thing is, he didn't play anything from that album, or "from the inside." I would have loved the hear, "we're all clones," but alas, it didn't happen. Flush the fashion was one of my favorites too.
